Applications
Trakkabeam Tactical Searchlights are the most advanced searchlights available for airborne, marine, and land-based applications.

Trakkabeam searchlights are used in a wide variety of military, law enforcement, security industries, airborne surveillance, harbor and border patrol, infrastructure protection, as well as maritime, commercial and industrial applications.
The compact, lightweight “M” series searchlights are ideal for land-based and marine applications. They are man portable and can easily be moved from site to site. They can be used at fixed locations or may be mounted on marine vessels and land vehicles. Trakkabeam “M” series searchlights are also RS232 addressable – allowing for remote control via a central command center.
“A” series units are designed for Airborne, Marine, and other applications where a motorized platform is required. The Trakkabeam A800 is capable of being slaved to many other RS232 and 422 based systems such as thermal and video cameras, moving map displays and more. Advanced features such as dual control capability, stabilized platforms, and DO-160 / DO-178 compliance, make the A800 the searchlight of the future.
All Trakkabeam searchlights feature the latest in optical design.* Utilizing a xenon lamp which requires about half the power of traditional searchlights, Trakkabeam’s unique optical system creates a uniform beam without the bright hot-spot at tight focus as well as the black hole in the beam center and wider viewing angles – resulting in fewer lost targets.
More outstanding Trakkabeam features include the industry’s only internal spectral filtering system with up to six available filters. This system allows the user to remotely switch from infrared to white light – or many other color combinations – at the touch of a button, without the bulk and weight of unreliable externally mounted systems.
